This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how orders manufactured by Olympiad Industries are prepared, dispatched, transported, and delivered to customers.
Olympiad Industries supplies custom sportswear, activewear, streetwear, kidswear, private-label apparel, and other made-to-order products to customers in different countries. Shipping arrangements may therefore vary depending on the destination, order size, delivery method, customs requirements, and customer agreement.
By placing an order with Olympiad Industries, you acknowledge and agree to the shipping terms described below unless different terms are confirmed in writing for your specific order.
1. Production Time and Shipping Time Are Separate
Customers should understand that production time and shipping time are two different stages.
Production time is the period required to manufacture the order.
It may include:
- Material preparation
- Pattern making
- Cutting
- Stitching
- Printing or embroidery
- Quality inspection
- Tagging
- Packing
Shipping time begins after the finished order has been approved for dispatch and handed over to the courier, freight forwarder, or logistics provider.
An estimated production period should therefore not be interpreted as the total delivery period unless specifically stated.
2. When Production Time Begins
Production time generally begins after all required order conditions have been completed.
Depending on the order, these may include:
- Final product specifications
- Confirmed quantities
- Size breakdown
- Fabric approval
- Color approval
- Artwork approval
- Logo approval
- Sample approval
- Packaging confirmation
- Shipping information
- Required advance payment
Delays in customer approvals, payments, artwork, measurements, or other required information may delay the production schedule.
3. Estimated Production Times
Production times vary depending on:
- Product category
- Quantity
- Material availability
- Number of sizes
- Design complexity
- Printing method
- Embroidery requirements
- Private-label requirements
- Custom packaging
- Current production workload
- Sample-development requirements
Any production timeline provided during quotation or order confirmation should normally be treated as an estimate unless a specific delivery commitment has been agreed in writing.
4. Sample Shipping
Samples may be shipped separately before bulk production.
The customer may be responsible for sample shipping costs unless those charges are specifically included in the agreed sample price.
Sample delivery times depend on:
- Destination country
- Courier service
- Customs clearance
- Local delivery conditions
Approval delays after receiving a sample may affect the expected bulk-production schedule.
5. Shipping Methods
Olympiad Industries may arrange shipment through suitable delivery methods depending on order size, destination, urgency, and customer requirements.
Shipping methods may include:
- International courier
- Air freight
- Freight forwarding services
- Cargo services
- Other agreed logistics methods
The appropriate shipping method may be discussed with the customer before dispatch.
6. Shipping Charges
Shipping charges depend on several factors, including:
- Destination
- Shipment weight
- Volumetric weight
- Carton dimensions
- Number of cartons
- Courier or freight service
- Delivery speed
- Fuel surcharges
- Market freight rates
- Customs or documentation requirements
A quotation may be provided either:
- Including shipping, or
- Excluding shipping
Customers should review their quotation carefully to confirm whether transportation charges are included.
If shipping rates change significantly before dispatch, updated charges may need to be discussed where the original quotation did not guarantee a fixed freight cost.
7. Shipping Address
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.
This may include:
- Recipient name
- Company name
- Street address
- City
- State or province
- Postal or ZIP code
- Country
- Telephone number
- Email address where required
Olympiad Industries is not responsible for delivery problems caused by incorrect, incomplete, or outdated address information provided by the customer.
Any additional shipping costs resulting from incorrect information may be charged to the customer.
8. International Shipping
Olympiad Industries serves international customers and may ship products to destinations worldwide where appropriate shipping services are available.
International delivery may be affected by:
- Customs procedures
- Import regulations
- Courier coverage
- Airport or port operations
- Government restrictions
- Local delivery conditions
Customers should ensure that the products they order can legally be imported into their destination country.
9. Customs Clearance
International shipments may be inspected or processed by customs authorities.
Customs authorities may request:
- Commercial invoices
- Packing lists
- Product descriptions
- Country-of-origin information
- Importer information
- Tax identification
- Additional supporting documents
Where possible, Olympiad Industries may provide standard shipment documentation required for export.
However, the importer or recipient remains responsible for meeting local import requirements unless otherwise agreed.
10. Customs Duties, Taxes and Import Fees
International shipments may be subject to additional charges such as:
- Customs duties
- Import tax
- VAT
- Sales tax
- Brokerage fees
- Clearance fees
- Government charges
- Local handling fees
Unless clearly stated as included in the quotation, these charges are generally not included in Olympiad Industries’ product or shipping price.
They are normally payable by the customer, importer, or recipient according to the laws of the destination country.
Olympiad Industries cannot determine every country’s import charges in advance.
11. Customer Responsibility for Import Requirements
Customers placing international orders should confirm any special import requirements applicable to their country.
These may include:
- Import licenses
- Tax numbers
- EORI numbers
- Business registration information
- Product labeling requirements
- Customs declarations
- Textile regulations
- Certificates
Any special documentation requirement should be communicated to Olympiad Industries before production or shipment whenever possible.
12. Shipment Tracking
Where tracking is available, Olympiad Industries may provide the customer with tracking information after the shipment has been dispatched.
Tracking may include:
- Courier name
- Tracking number
- Airway bill number
- Freight reference
- Other shipment details
Tracking information is normally generated after the courier or logistics provider has accepted and processed the shipment.
13. Estimated Transit Time
Transit times vary according to:
- Destination country
- Shipping service
- Customs processing
- Flight availability
- Courier network
- Local delivery conditions
- Public holidays
- Weather
- Security restrictions
Any transit time provided by Olympiad Industries should normally be considered an estimate based on available logistics information.
Courier or freight delays may occur after shipment leaves our control.
14. Delivery Dates
We make reasonable efforts to manufacture and dispatch orders according to agreed schedules.
However, unless specifically guaranteed in a written agreement, estimated delivery dates are not absolute guarantees.
Customers with a specific event, tournament, launch date, retail campaign, or deadline should communicate that requirement before placing the order.
Sufficient time should be allowed for production, possible revisions, shipping, customs clearance, and local delivery.
15. Courier and Freight Delays
Once a shipment has been handed to an independent courier, freight forwarder, airline, cargo company, or other logistics provider, transit operations are largely controlled by that third party.
Delivery may be delayed because of circumstances including:
- Customs inspections
- Flight delays
- Courier network disruption
- Port congestion
- Weather
- Natural disasters
- Strikes
- Government restrictions
- Security situations
- International emergencies
- Incorrect recipient information
- Failed delivery attempts
Olympiad Industries will reasonably assist customers with available tracking or shipment information but cannot control third-party logistics operations.
16. Customs Delays
Customs authorities operate independently of Olympiad Industries.
A shipment may occasionally be held for inspection, documentation review, tax assessment, or importer verification.
Olympiad Industries is not responsible for customs-processing delays that are outside our reasonable control.
Customers should respond promptly if customs authorities or the courier require additional information from them.
17. Failed Delivery Attempts
If a courier attempts delivery but cannot complete it because:
- Nobody is available
- The address is incorrect
- The recipient refuses the shipment
- Required customs charges are unpaid
- The recipient fails to provide requested information
the shipment may be held, returned, or subject to additional charges.
Additional delivery, storage, return, or re-shipping charges caused by these circumstances may be the responsibility of the customer.
18. Refused Shipments
Customers should not refuse a shipment without first contacting Olympiad Industries.
Refusing delivery does not automatically qualify an order for a refund.
Custom-made products may have limited or no resale value because they were produced according to the customer’s specific:
- Design
- Branding
- Colors
- Sizes
- Labels
- Names or numbers
- Packaging
Any refused shipment will be reviewed according to the circumstances and our applicable Returns, Refunds & Cancellation Policy.
19. Lost Shipments
If tracking indicates that a shipment may have been lost, customers should contact Olympiad Industries promptly.
We may coordinate with the courier or logistics provider to request an investigation.
The resolution of a lost-shipment claim may depend on:
- Courier investigation
- Shipping insurance
- Declared shipment value
- Delivery terms
- Documentation
- Carrier liability rules
Olympiad Industries will reasonably assist with the claim process where appropriate.
20. Damaged Shipments
Customers should inspect cartons and packaging upon delivery whenever possible.
If the shipment appears to have been damaged during transportation:
- Take clear photographs
- Photograph the outer carton
- Photograph damaged packaging
- Photograph affected products
- Keep the original packaging
- Record the quantity affected
- Contact us promptly
This information may be necessary to submit a claim with the shipping provider.
Damage caused during transportation will be assessed separately from manufacturing defects.
21. Missing Items or Cartons
Customers should compare the delivered shipment against the available:
- Packing list
- Carton count
- Shipment documents
- Order quantity
If cartons or products appear to be missing, please notify Olympiad Industries promptly with the relevant shipment and order information.
We may review packing records and available carrier information.
22. Shipment Inspection After Delivery
Customers should inspect received goods within a reasonable period after delivery.
Any concern involving:
- Missing quantities
- Incorrect products
- Visible damage
- Manufacturing defects
should be reported promptly with supporting photographs or videos where appropriate.
Claims submitted significantly later may be more difficult to verify, particularly where products have already been distributed, worn, washed, altered, or resold.
23. Split Shipments
In some circumstances, an order may be shipped in more than one shipment.
This may occur because of:
- Order size
- Customer request
- Product readiness
- Freight limitations
- Delivery urgency
- Logistics arrangements
Any additional cost associated with split shipments should normally be agreed with the customer where applicable.
24. Partial Delivery
A customer may request that part of an order be dispatched earlier than the remaining quantity.
Where possible, Olympiad Industries may accommodate such requests.
Additional freight costs may apply because multiple shipments are usually more expensive than one consolidated shipment.
25. Packaging for Transportation
Finished products are packed according to the order requirements and intended shipping method.
Depending on the product and customer requirements, packaging may include:
- Individual polybags
- Folding
- Size identification
- Hang tags
- Brand packaging
- Inner cartons
- Export cartons
Special packaging requirements should be communicated before the quotation or production process is finalized.
26. Changes to Shipping Instructions
Customers should provide any changes to the delivery address, courier account, shipping method, or consignee information before dispatch.
Once a shipment has been collected, it may not be possible to change:
- Destination
- Recipient
- Shipping service
- Customs information
Courier fees may apply if changes are possible after dispatch.
27. Customer-Arranged Shipping
In some cases, customers may prefer to arrange collection through their own:
- Courier account
- Freight forwarder
- Shipping agent
- Logistics partner
Where agreed, Olympiad Industries may prepare the order for collection and provide necessary shipment information.
Responsibility for freight arrangements may transfer to the customer or their nominated logistics provider once the shipment is collected, subject to the agreed terms.
28. Delivery Confirmation
A shipment may be considered delivered when the shipping provider records delivery to:
- The provided address
- The recipient
- An authorized person
- A business reception
- Another accepted delivery point under the courier’s procedures
Customers should contact the shipping provider promptly if tracking shows delivery but the shipment cannot be located.
29. Force Majeure
Shipping or delivery may be affected by events beyond the reasonable control of Olympiad Industries.
These may include:
- War
- Civil unrest
- Natural disasters
- Flooding
- Fire
- Epidemics
- Government action
- Export or import restrictions
- Airport closures
- Port closures
- Transport disruption
- Labor strikes
- Major supply-chain disruption
Where such circumstances occur, Olympiad Industries will make reasonable efforts to keep affected customers informed.
30. Shipping Insurance
Shipment insurance may depend on the carrier, shipping method, destination, and agreed terms.
Customers requiring specific insurance coverage should discuss this before shipment.
Insurance should not be assumed unless it has been expressly confirmed.
31. Transfer of Risk
Responsibility for loss or damage during transportation may depend on the shipping arrangement, carrier terms, insurance, and any specific trade terms agreed for the order.
For larger commercial transactions, the applicable shipping responsibility or Incoterm should ideally be confirmed in the quotation, invoice, purchase agreement, or other written documentation.
32. Changes to This Policy
Olympiad Industries may update this Shipping & Delivery Policy when:
- Logistics procedures change
- Courier arrangements change
- Business operations change
- International shipping requirements change
- Applicable legal requirements change
The latest version will be published on our website with an updated Last Updated date.
